Group Taster

Never been climbing before but would like to try it?

Then the 'Group Taster Session' is the way to go. During this session our instructor(s) will encourage you all to climb, letting you experience the feeling of being in a harness, climbing walls, being lowered back down and belaying (holding the rope for the person climbing).

All equipment hire (helmet, harness, shoes) and entry into the centre is included in the price. All you need to do is turn up with your group in loose fitting, comfortable clothes, with long hair tied back and no jewellery on hands or wrists.

As the centre is based in an old church we have a spire which you can abseil from if you’re keen! Please email or phone the centre to enquire about incorporating this into your session.

The Glasgow Climbing Centre has its own cafe, run by our amazing Cafe Manager, Liam. Whether you want to organise 'themed' event, a tasty dinner, or a simple sandwich, we can cater for your requirements. Please make food enquiries to;

The cafe is situated at the top of the spiral staircase as you come into the centre.
