Climbatize

Climbatize is for young people aged between 13 and 17 years of age

Climbing is a great way to exercise and have fun whilst learning new skills. It can also help develop their coordination, team building, self discipline as well as being a great way to build confidence.

The session is 1 hour 45 minutes with all equipment hire (helmet, harness, shoes) included in the price. The instructor will be teaching the kids the basics and get them experiencing indoor climbing.

If they want to come along as a one off and try it out they are more than welcome.

If they want to come along to these sessions regularly to progress and develop their climbing skills, then why not ask about NICAS?

This is the National Indoor Climbing Achievement Scheme. The NICAS has 5 levels within it, which the kids have to work their way through. Each level must be signed off by a qualified instructor and they are then presented with a certificate for that level. The NICAS is an excellent way to provide focus and structure to their learning and the logbooks are ideal for parents to see how their child is progressing.

If they want to incorporate NICAS into their Climbatize sessions simply purchase your NICAS logbook from reception. Make sure they take their logbook along with them and ask the instructor to sign off the tasks as they complete them.

Can a parent or guardian please be present for the first visit to sign a consent form.
