Climbing is a great way for kids to exercise and have fun whilst learning new skills. It can also help develop their coordination, team building, self discipline as well as being a great way to build confidence.
The Holiday Programme is a 1 hour 45 minutes session. During this session our instructor will encourage the kids to climb, letting them experience the feeling of being in a harness, climbing walls, being lowered back down and belaying (hold the rope for the person climbing). Sessions last 1 hour 45 minutes.
If this isn't long enough why not try out our 'Day Camp', this is 4 hour session. Go to 'Kids Courses' and look up 'Day Camp'.
All equipment hire (helmet, harness, shoes) and entry into the centre is included in the price. Recommended clothing is loose fitting, comfortable clothes, with long hair tied back and no jewellery on hands or wrists.
If they want to come climbing regularly the NICAS is a great way for them to develop their climbing skills. NICAS can be incorporated into our Rock Ratz and Climbatize sessions also. Have a look at www.nicas.co.uk or ask at reception.
