Terms & conditions
Agreement between ‘the client’ and ‘The Glasgow Climbing Centre’ – By checking the box on the booking form, the client accepts that they have read and agree to these terms.
Please note that:
“The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”
The Glasgow Climbing Centre takes responsibility for providing facilities for clients’ enjoyment of the climbing activities. Whilst all practical steps have been taken to minimise the risk involved, indoor climbing is a dangerous activity. Neither the operating company nor its employees shall be liable for any loss or injury arising from participation in activities within the centre. Nothing contained within these terms shall affect any statutory rights.
Please forward the above information to the parent/guardians of all group participants.
When making a booking on behalf of a group, the client must be aware that each participant must either sign their own declaration or have a declaration signed on their behalf by a parent or guardian when they arrive at the centre. It is therefore the client’s responsibility to ensure that each participant has read these terms beforehand.
The Glasgow Climbing Centre endeavour to ensure the client’s privacy at all times, and as such only store essential information about the booking on our servers. All payment information is collected by our secure third-party payment partner, SagePay.
